A meeting was called on 2nd June 2026 at Deccan Gymkhana Banquet Hall, Pune. The Structural Engineers discussed the amount and implementation of professional fees for structural design services and passed the following resolution unanimously.

“RESOLVED THAT the professional fee shall be minimum 2% of the structural cost. This shall be applicable for all infrastructure sectors like Buildings, Bridges, Roads, Industrial Structures, ETP, STP etc..”

“RESOLVED FURTHER THAT a Rapid Action Committee shall be established for action against undercutting & malpractices & unethical practices which shall make sure (by adopting different methods) that it is implemented by all the structural engineers.”
